John joined the firm in 1980 after training in the City and became a partner in 1986. Although a member of the Institute’s Audit and Information Technology faculties he uses his experience and knowledge across all areas of general practice to provide a wide spectrum of business advice to a diverse range of clients. He is also a member of The Worshipful Company of Chartered Accountants.
John is married with lots of children and an ever increasing number of grandchildren. He is a keen follower of rugby and likes to appear on stage (in an amateur capacity) and occasionally on the golf course (if no-one else objects!).
Paul joined the firm in 2002 after qualifying at a firm in Canterbury. He became a partner in 2005.
His particular areas of specialism within the firm are business consultancy and planning, accounting and auditing. He is a member of the Institute’s Audit & Assurance and Tax faculties.
Paul is married with three children and outside of work tries to play golf, run marathons and manage his son’s football team.
Ricky joined the firm in 2004 and qualified in 2008. He has been managing the Audit Department since 2012, and in 2017 became a Partner in the firm.
His main activity within the firm is auditing and accountancy, specialising in reporting for medium and large entities and groups. He also works with charities, small companies and partnerships. In addition to statutory reporting and auditing Ricky has a particular interest, and experience, in implementing and reviewing systems and providing information for management purposes. Ricky is also involved with recruiting and training new staff members.
Ricky is married and enjoys spending time with his family, travelling and the occasional box set on Netflix when the baby is asleep!
Neil joined the firm in 2001 and qualified in 2005. He became audit manager in 2007, before progressing to associate status in 2013 and then to partner in 2014. His career has been based in practice and he is now responsible for a wide-ranging client base. His main activity within the firm is auditing and accountancy and related matters. Neil is also a trusted and respected business adviser to owner – managed clients. Neil is a firm believer that regular contact and liaison is the key to delivering excellent services.
Married with two children, he plays golf and cricket and also attends football matches on a regular basis.
Dan joined the firm in 2006 when he was just 16. He went on to complete his exams and became fully qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2014. He then became tax manager and swiftly onto tax associate in 2017 and in 2019 he became Tax Partner.
Having grown up in all areas of tax, Dan has a wide knowledge of all aspects in relation to tax and is always available to answer all queries however small or large. His main activity in the firm is tax planning and advice for all types of client along with everyday compliance issues. Dan believes that completing work promptly and efficiently is key to a great business relationship.
In his spare time, Dan is a keen follower of Arsenal, although that is more stressful than work! He regularly goes to the gym and keeps active trying to play football.
